SOUL KITCHEN WITH DRU HILL LIVE: TORONTO - APRIL 16TH 2010

On April 16th, 2010, the Soul Kitchen played host to Dru Hill inside the Home Theatre.

Sisqo, Nokio, and new member Tao, short Jazz who was held home by a personal tragedy, knocked out hits "Tell Me", the So So Def produced remix of  "In My Bed", a rocked out version of "How Deep is Your Love", and walked it out to "Beauty"...

Recognizing Toronto as true music lovers, they did their own tributes to their favorites - Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean", Jodeci's "Forever My Lady", and Mint Condition's "Pretty Brown Eyes".

Due to the absence of Jazz, Sisqo treated the crowd to a Toronto favorite, "Incomplete", before launching into "Thong Song"... before doing a little inpromtu interview with yours truly.

The group still has IT. Watching them backstage, stretching, practicing - and even Sisqo skipping dinner to ensure that his dance steps were tight, reminds me how few true ARTISTS there are left in 2010 who truly love and respect the music, and the culture...

Enjoy.
